Artisan Fair Vendor Application
Hello, and thank you for your interest in taking part in Hammerhand Coffee’s first annual Artisan Fair. We will be clearing out the seating in our cafe and to make space for 6-8 vendors to set up small displays. We will advertise to our customer base that we will be open extra hours on the evening of Thursday December 19th for them to come and shop, as well as browse a special menu of deserts and drinks not usually available during our normal hours. We normally close daily at 4:00, but have piloted evening events and found great feedback and high turnouts, so we will already be opening one evening per week in December. Customers will already be aware of our new late hours and we anticipate pretty good foot traffic. To give you an idea of the size of our local customer base, we generally serve around 200 customers per day and can advertise the event to our 4,000 social media followers and 3,000 email subscribers.
For this first year, we are not charging any vendor fees. We want to use this year to show people what we plan to do annually each holiday season and test the waters for what works as far as hours to be open, expected attendance, and menu expectations. Each set up area will be approximately 8 feet wide by 5 feet deep, so you will most likely need a smaller set up than your average craft fair. You are welcome to use our tables or we can move them for you to bring your own.
In 2017 we actually did a similar event in our previous building and had great feedback from both vendors and attendees.
